CURFC Pre Season News:
Pre season Kicks off on September 6th 2010 at the Cardiff University Sports fields Llanrumney, there are three very tough pre season fixtures in place starting with the toughest up first; BUCS Finalists and WRU division 1 Winners UWIC RFC, followed by games against the Army and Navy U23 teams on consecutive Wednesdays.
The 2010-11 Season goals are to for the first time in Cardiff University Rugby Clubs history to have the First Team Promoted to Premier A and the Second Team promoted to Premier B, the first

A total of 58 students competing for a maximum of 42 squad places every week in the First and Second team squads and for the Ultimate place in the welsh Varsity Squad at the Millennium Stadium in 2011.

Congratulations to Aaron Fowler:
Aaron will be given the Honour of Captaining Cardiff University Rugby Club:
Aaron studying on the LPC course will represent the university for the fourth consecutive year. As a Fresher Aaron was part of the successful squad who gained promotion to the BUSA Premiership, the first time in the clubs history. The same year the squad were winners of the Welsh Cup, Welsh Varsity match and finalists at the Hong Kong 10’s
A native of Cardiff Aaron has represented;

Welsh Academicals.
A winner of the Rebook Regional U20’s Championship with the Cardiff Blues U20’s, Aaron has represented Welsh Premiership clubs Pontypridd and Cardiff RFC, Aaron is now thoroughly enjoying his rugby at Merthyr RFC and Cardiff University Rugby Clubs.
